Exodus 2: Moses: The Beginning of...

The next four books detail the life of Moses, particularly the last 40 years of it. This period of time is so significant that it is mentioned no less than 300 times in the rest of the Bible (the first being Genesis 15 and the last being Revelation 15). If not for the courageous actions and obedient faith of his parents, we would have never heard of him. The first 80 years of his life are in this one chapter. It is truly the beginning of one of the most important eras in history (1 Corinthians 10:1-12).
