Genesis 39: What About Egypt?
Egypt now enters the Bible in a big way and remains involved—almost always in a bad way. There were even people from Egypt in the audience on Pentecost in Acts 2. Joseph will spend the rest of his life there (93 of his 110 years). He begins his time there as a faithful young man—he would remain faithful until he died as a faithful old man. He lived life knowing that any wrong he did was sin against God—so he chose to refrain from sin over and over again. He was not sinless, but there is no record of his falling into evil.
