Exodus 25: Willingly

Our God has always desired service to Him that involves the free voluntary decision of the heart. This section of Exodus (chapters 25-36) frequently refer to this part of the way to please God. It is the “in spirit” part of true worship (John 4:24). It is the “make melody in your heart” part of acceptable singing (Ephesians 5:19). Apart from this voluntary giving (all one word in the original), the actions that follow it are of no use.
