Genesis 49: Everyone Has a Future

The last event of Jacob’s life was to be a prophet. He gathered his sons and told each one something about the future. Each one would have a future as a man and as the beginner of one of Israel’s tribes. Not all of it was good. Not all of it was bad. But all of it was true. Everyone who reads these lines has a future, too. And part of that future will be as it is because of decisions you make. You can change the outcome for good or bad by choosing good or bad. Learn the Bible—learn the lessons of these 13 tribes (counting Levi)—and choose good (Deuteronomy 30:15-20).
