Exodus 9: I Raised You Up

The individual missions of Moses were among the most impressive, serious, and even intimidating of all time. In this reading, he is sent to Pharaoh to tell him that God had raised him up (caused to stand and remain in a certain place) to show His power by using Pharaoh as He willed. Pharaoh made his choice to stand against Jehovah, so Jehovah made His choice “that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.” And it still is being declared. He will declare it through me, too. So, my choice is to be as Moses or as Pharaoh. There are no other choices.
