Exodus 5: Who Is the Lord?

The Egyptian king of Exodus 1 did not know Joseph. This king, more than 100 years later, having lived his whole life around Israelites, boldly asks, “Who is Jehovah, that I should obey…?” No man ever had his question answered the way that Jehovah answered this one. And no man ever did a poorer job in handling the answers. Now let us consider a question: “Am I one of the people who knows more about Pharaohs, Egypt, and hundreds of other things than I know about Jehovah?” Let’s read the next eight chapters and get to know Him.
