Genesis 11: Was It Pride?

Sometimes unity is pleasing to God and furthers His cause on earth. Most of the time, unity among people is displeasing to Him and hinders His cause on earth because the unity is not based first on truth. This chapter has the lesson of the second kind—and it shows how easy it is for God to stop it when and how He chooses. Another note from Genesis 11—Noah lived 350 years after the flood which means that when he died, Abraham was 58 years old.
