Genesis 14: King and Priest

Melchizedek enters and exits the Bible story at the end of this chapter. We might not think of him again if it were not for Psalm 110 and the book of Hebrews. In those two places, we learn that this man, who was king and priest of Salem (later, Jerusalem), is a type of the King of kings and High Priest of high priests—Jesus Christ.
