Genesis 22: Abraham--Abraham

This chapter is one of the highlights of the entire Bible. It has a clear and difficult commandment for Abraham. It has his unquestioning obedience. It has his great faith. It has the total submission of his “only son.” It has several examples of perfect communication involving all parties. It has the provisions of Jehovah (Jehovah-Jireh). It has blessings for all. And it has all of those connections between God and Abraham and Jesus and Isaac.
